Altar Day of the Dead Frida Kahlo Shrine

This small Day of the Dead shrine is a perfect tribute to Frida Kahlo or that special woman in your life.

The altar is centered with a fabric image of Frida Kahlo with the words ’Viva Frida’.

The interior is surrounded by gold vintage crushed velvet I upcycled from a beautiful vintage dress. Then I trimmed it in red glitter, tiny red flowers and red fringe.

The altar is finished with authentic Mexican milagros of a corazon/heart or a set of eyes. At the base of the altar is a charm of the Virgin Mary and a clay calavera made in Mexco.

The shrine is 5 inches wide and 5 inches tall. The chipboard box is sealed in decoupage.

Each altar is a one-of-a-kind design.
