I started "My Mercado Mexican Imports" because I love spending time shopping in Mexico for my own home and thought others would want the opportunity to add colorful, festive Mexican items to their own.

I live along the Texas-Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley - it’s as far South Texas as you can get. So it doesn’t take me but a few minutes to cross the Rio Grande and I’m in Mexico.

All along the border you'll find fabulous folk art created by talented artisans throughout Mexico - from tin ornaments to pewter crosses, from woven handbags to wool ponchos, from handcrafted pottery to traditional Mexican fiesta dresses.

I always have Mexican dress, shopping bags, pottery dishes and home decor in stock. If you love playing the popular Mexican game Loteria or making artwork from the colorful game cards, I have plenty in stock. Plus, if you enjoy decorating your garden with Talavera pottery animals I have a wide selection for you to pick from.
